Retribution: Something Is Coming
There are some stories that begin with a question. Retribution begins with a reckoning.
I've been quietly working on this book for some time now, and there's something strangely difficult about talking about it without giving too much away, partly because so much of the story depends on what you don't know when you begin.
There are secrets, choices that cannot be undone, and consequences that refuse to stay buried.
Retribution explores what happens when the past refuses to stay where it belongs, when old wounds reopen, buried truths begin to surface, and the line between justice and revenge becomes increasingly difficult to see.
But this isn't simply a story about someone seeking payback. It's about why. Why do people seek revenge when they know what it might cost them? How far would you go to put something right? And what happens when getting what you believe you deserve turns out to be nothing like you imagined?
I don't want to reveal too much just yet. In fact, I'd rather leave you with a few questions. Who is really responsible? What has been hidden? And when the truth finally comes out, will anyone walk away unchanged?
For now, that's all I'm saying. Retribution is coming, and when it does, I hope you'll be ready to discover just how deep the story goes.
Some debts are forgotten. Some debts are forgiven. And some debts demand to be paid.
